How should I respond to this ex-boyfriend?

Aww, I'm so glad you got over this jerk and met a wonderful guy that genuinely cares about you. Be very thankful and don't think twice about your ex, he doesn't deserve anything from you now, he had his opportunity and blew it. You moved on after all that heartache, be proud of yourself and don't look back. I wouldn't give your ex the time of day. To take 13months to respond to you is just way too long and selfish, in my opinion. Its payback time. He should get a taste of his own medicine. Sending an email telling him your feelings may make you feel better, but it won't change anything, right? You have a great guy now, who cares about what he is doing or why he is writing after all this time...he sure didn't care about you, did he, all those nights you were hurting over him wishing he would come back? I understand totally your frustration and being irritated/upset, I've had similar situation. They always seem to come back when we finally get over them! I think the best thing you could do, is ignore him...after all he put you through, he doesn't deserve anything else. Whatever you choose to do is your choice, but unless he apologizes and really seems sincere about talking and admits that he was wrong for the way he treated you, I wouldn't give him the time of day.
