Why do people think Hugo Chavez is a great humanitarian and is helping his people?

He is a ganster that became a leader. He is a crook and doesn't care anything about the poor people in Venezuela. Has this country gone mad or just stupid? If I see one more interview with him I am going to puke...Hew is such a pandering, hypocritical lying ..typical of South American politicians
