Is a pacifier sterilizer a neccessity for my registry?

Whatever you want to put on your registry is your business. There's no guarantee that you will even receive it at your shower...but at least if you decide it is something you DO want later on, most items on a baby registry are subject to a discount if you purchase them on your own after the event. Basically, if you want to put it on your registry, go ahead...someone may buy it for you, and if they don't you can go back and get it yourself at a lesser price if you decide you still want it. Question: Is it portable? If you are out at the mall and baby drops pacifier, can you sterilize it right then and there, or will you have to wait til you get home?
