What is AGAPE love as described by many Evangelical Christians?

It is Love which is devoid of self interest. Christians show agape love to each other, and to others. When you are loved in this way by another human being, you begin to grow . You can be safe in this love because you know the person loving you, is not out to gain from you in some way, but they are keen to help you to come to a full knowledge of Jesus Our Saviour. Who Saves us with his Love.
