How would my car insurer find out ive put alloys on my car without declaring them?

Tell them, it's not like it's going to put hundreds onto the premium. It might not even put anything onto it, but if they end up examining the car in the course of a claim, either by you or someone else, and you haven't declared them they may well use that to get out of paying up.
